Georgia is showcasing its unique and complex cuisine this week at a prestigious food and beverage exhibition in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
Thirteen Georgian companies are participating at the Gulfood 2017 food fair in Dubai, where food and beverage professionals from all corners of the globe are meeting to shape the future of food and beverage consumption worldwide.
The exhibition aims to promote food and beverage trade between more than 120 countries annually, enabling 5,000 providers of raw materials and ingredients to showcase tastes, trends and innovations in the food industry from world over.
Visitors of the Gulfood 2017 exhibition will have the opportunity to sample products of Georgian companies who were established with the help of state support from February 26 - March 2.

Companies participating at the exhibition produce bay leaves, mineral waters, nuts, fruits (both fresh and dry), canned products, berries, spices, medical herbs, teas and meat.
The Georgian pavilion is also hosting an international consultancy firm based in the UAE – Channel Georgia FZC. The aim of the company is to facilitate the exporting of Georgian products and produce to countries of the Persian Gulf.
The Georgian delegation includes high-ranking officials from Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Agriculture who have been holding meetings with potential investors while in Dubai.
