Global attention has been drawn to Georgian basketball fans after their favourite – Zaza Pachulia – was named among the players leading the NBA All-Star Game fan-voting.
The NBA released the results of the first round of voting earlier this week where Pachulia - a starting centre for the Golden State Warriors (Oakland) - took second place among the Western Conference frontcourt players (439,675 votes), trailing only behind teammate Kevin Durant (541,209 votes).
This was a surprise for many basketball fans worldwide who were amazed that this result was achived by a nation of three million.
Below is a collection of reactions from internet users from all over the world.
1. For some, it's an inspiration.
