Spain’s port city of Alicante has hosted Georgian Culture Days this week, where Georgian wine and its rich viticulture was promoted.
During the week-long event, a presentation about Georgian wine titled Georgia – Cradle of Wine was held.
Among the guests were sommeliers, importers and media and trading networks’ representatives, who had a chance to taste a glass of Georgian wine.
As the Georgian National Wine Agency reports, Georgian wine was much loved and appreciated at the event.
The five-day Georgian Culture Days was held at the Plaza Seneca exhibition centre in Alicante.
The event showcased not only Georgian wines but also Georgian artwork and folklore samples.
Georgian emigrants, living in Spain, also attended the event.
