The Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award was founded in 1972 and pays homage to Madame Clicquot, one of the first women to establish herself as a leading female figure in the business world.
Since the BWA inception, the worthy female heirs of "la Grande Dame de Champagne" have been recognised for their own unique and pioneering qualities.
The award has enjoyed an international dimension, honoring more than 300 women in 27 countries since its inception.
This annual award is intended for women, who make a special contribution to diversify in the business world. When accessing these female entrepreneurs’ success, they consider Madame Clicquot qualities: business acumen, financial success, social responsibility and innovative traits,” read the press release.
2017 is the first year Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award ceremony was held in Georgia to reveal the winner.
