Before making plans for future cooperation, the parties will take stock of what has been achieved since the last summit in Riga in 2015, focusing on the tangible benefits delivered to the citizens of the six Eastern Partnership countries.
Later today, an Eastern Partnership declaration will be adopted to feature what new benefits the EU is offering to its eastern allies.
The event will mainly focus on 20 "deliverables” or priorities – EU’s plans to help Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Belarus tackle corruption, improve the rule of law and modernise their economies.
