Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign affairs, the country’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and President Giorgi Margvelashvili have issued special statements, expressing deep sorrow over the devastating earthquake in Mexico today, claiming tens of lives.

The 7.1 magnitude quake stroke central Mexico today, leaving more than 200 people dead, more than 20 children among them, while 30 others are missing.
Mexico is one of the most seismically active regions in the world, sitting on top of three of the Earth's largest tectonic plates - the North American, Cocos and Pacific plates, BBC reported.
