Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated at today’s governmental meeting that he was very thankful to the new administration of the US for their very "loud and clear support to Georgia.”
The statement came after the first meeting of the government of Georgia after US Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to Georgia.
I underline how important it is when a country’s key strategic partner declares so strong support to the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and foreign priorities,” Kvirikashvili stated.
The PM also stressed that the US administration has highly assessed steps taken by the Georgian government in three priority directions: security and stability, democracy and human rights protection and economic development.
The positive evaluation is first of all a big responsibility for us to unite our country, of course peacefully, and implement our priorities consistently,” Kvirikashvili stated.
US Vice President Mike Pence visited Georgia on July 31-August 1.
