Georgian wine company Badagoni wins Grand Gold medal in Italy

A Georgian wine company Badagoni is the proud winner of the international wine competition ‘Mondial des Vins Extrêmes Cervim’, which aims to promote and enhance mountain wines.

At the wine contest held in Italy this month Badagoni wine ‘Saperavi Reserve’ was awarded with the highest award, the Grand Gold medal.

This fact is an unprecedented case for Georgian wine. The wine competition is executed with the support of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine, that makes the competition even more valuable,” read the press release from Badagoni.
‘Mondial des Vins Extrêmes Cervim’ is distinguished from other competitions because of its choosing the wines only from those regions that have their own distinctive wine history and traditions,” it continued.
