The first ever Georgian military dictionary has been unveiled at the Georgian Defense Ministry’s army hall today.

The dictionary gives brief overview of various military issues including the structural and systemic categories, definitions of strategies and tactics, modern terms and other field-related issues.

Addressing the audience Defense Minister Levan Izoria said the dictionary aims at systematising Georgian military terminology as well as syncronising it with the other NATO-member states.

Minister Izoria believes that education and, in particular, military education has important role in the process of institutional development in the country.

Defense Ministry and the editorial team of the issue signed a memorandum of cooperation based on which the parties will make the dictionary available on the ministry’s webpage.
