Some public registry services in Georgia are now available on mobile phones and tablet computers.

The Georgian National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) introduced a new app that enables users to reach property registration services more easily.

The app, named NAPR, can be downloaded from the App Store and Play Market.

Some of the services available through the new app include:

  • Finding an extract from the registry of property,
  • Finding out who is the owner of the property,
  • Tracking the status of their property registration.

All of these actions are possible by using either a property registration number, ID number, address or cadastral code.

Using a GPS sensor, a user can move their device in any direction within the 360° radius and the app can show a list of immovable properties registered nearby, also their identification data and distance from other locations.

"Nowadays, more and more people use mobile applications so we think that NAPR app will have many users”, head of the NAPR Papuna Ugrekhelidze said, adding more functions will be added to the app in the future.
