Exactly three weeks are left before GEM Fest 2017 - the largest electronic music festival and one of the biggest music events in Europe - kicks off in Anaklia, Georgia. Here are four reasons why you should DEFINITELY go:
1. The largest line-up in the world. This year, GEM Fest offers over 3,000 performances by the world’s 500 most sought-after musical artists on nine different stages, including one mind-blowing Island Stage (pictured below). Many of the world's biggest house, techno, and trance DJs will be there, and no matter how picky you are, you still can find one to your tastes.

2. The longest music festival in the world. It’s the 21st century, and one thing we are always short on is time. But when it comes to GEM Fest, you won’t be able to say you couldn’t go because you couldn’t find time. Why is that? Because it lasts for – wait for it – one straight MONTH, from July 14 to August 14. They made it just for us to last forever!

3. Incredible location. Apart from vibing with the best electronic music alongside tens of thousands of like-minded party-goers, you also get a chance to see Georgia, the country which leaves no tourist unimpressed. With its friendly fellas, picturesque landscape, delicious food, and splendid wine, Georgia’s gonna make you fall for it.

4. Making a difference for a small village. Unlike most other large-scale electronic music festivals, GEM Fest takes place not in a dizzying megalopolis, but in a distant, tiny village with the cleanest beach on the Black Sea and the most charming sunset, a place that has long been forgotten by almost everyone. Your entertainment there means a source of income for the locals. You get to spend unforgettable summer days in Anaklia, and the village girls and boys will be able to go to school with new shoes in the fall – a win-win situation!
