A brand new poultry farm has been launched in Georgia’s eastern region of Mtskheta-Mtianeti within the state-run United Agro Project.
With the total cost of $280,000 the farm will produce up to 20,000 hens per quarter that will be later sold out on the local market.

Launched by the Government of Georgia, the United Agro Project allows farmers from all over the country to easily learn about the existing and new agricultural services offered by the state and how to better benefit from these agricultural programs.

As of today there are six ongoing agricultural programs gathered under the United Agro Project. These are:
Up to now more than 900 enterprises, both old and new, have been financed within the United Agro Project throughout Georgia.
