Very soon Tbilisi will have more patrol police crews, Georgia’s Interior Minister Giorgi Mgebrishvili announced today.
He didn’t specify the number but stressed the increase was the part of the reform in his body.
The current number of police crews in the capital city is 116.
The Minister also said all policemen of the patrol police would undergo a mandatory training course and after the completion of the course they would have to take qualification exams.
Mgebrishvili said the trainings would be held at the Interior Ministry Academy and would cover theory, tactical studies and practical trainings.
