Ukrainian Defence Minister Poltorak Stepan is paying an official visit to Tbilisi.
He met with his Georgian counterpart Levan Izoria and Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

The deepening of Georgia-Ukraine defence cooperation was in focus of all the meetings Stepan held in Tbilisi.
Izoria offered his Ukrainian counterpart to send a Ukrainian expert to the NATO-Georgia Joint Trainiang and Evaluation Centre (JTEC) in Tbilisi in order to share the experience. He also invited Ukrainian servicemen to participate in a joint training at the JTEC planned for 2019.

"We reaffirm Georgia's support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders", Izoria said following his meeting with Stepan.
