PM’s New Year address: “2017 will be a year of special opportunities"

"I promise, 2017 will be a year of special opportunities. I believe we all together will use these opportunities and will make our biggest dreams come true”.

With these words Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has congratulated on New Year to all Georgian citizens.

When the New Year comes we all have our own dreams, goals, aspirations … But there is always one wish that unites all of us - that the New Year to bring joy and well-being of our country. We all want Georgia to be united, to be economically stronger, and to be truly democratic European country,” the PM stated.

PM Kvirikashvili said there were many achievements and challenges in 2016 but the most important was that the "foundation has been laid for proper development of our country”.

Meanwhile, Kvirikashvili highlighted the new, 2017 year, would be the year of new opportunities for each representative of the country.

Georgia will be the country of new opportunities, where any representative of the country will be able to make his/her ideas true. It will be the country where the state success will be dependent on each citizen’s effort. We should merge our force to build the country,” Kvirikashvili stated.

The country’s top official also said these opportunities to be beneficial for the Georgian citizens living in de-facto Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) and the Georgians living abroad and emphesised they could enjoy all the achievements Georgia has reached.
