Two young Georgian skiers clamed a podium finish at an International Ski Federation (FIS) competition in Bulgaria's winter resort Bansko on March 22 and 23.
Georgia’s Youth Ski Team member Tamar Barbariani finished third among 108 competitors aged under 17 in the youth Giant Slalom race on Tuesday, while another young Georgian skier achieved a top three result today.

Kurtanidze retired from the previous day's race but came back with a strong performance today and ended on a high.
The podium finishes by Barbariani and Kurtanidze were complemented by top-10 finishes by Ekaterine Gotsiridze and David Nazgaidze, both of whom are members of Georgia's Youth male and female ski teams.
The two-day FIS competition in Bansko only featured these Georgian skiers in Giant Slalom and Slalom contests.
