Tbilisi TV Tower lights up for Ireland

Tbilisi’s iconic TV Tower is illuminated in green to celebrate 20 years of Georgia-Ireland diplomatic relations.
At the same time the two counties celebrate two year's of friendship between the capital cities Tbilisi and Dublin.
Symbolising Georgia-Ireland friendly relations, the Tbilisi TV Tower will be illuminated green from 8pm to midnight tonight.
Furthermore, also today Tbilisi joined the Global Greening campaign.
The Tbilisi TV Tower was ‘going green’ along with about 180 other landmarks and sites around the world in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day as part of Tourism Ireland’s seventh annual Global Greening initiative.
Tbilisi’s iconic TV Tower will tonight be illuminated in yellow, green and red to mark Lithuanian Freedom Defenders' Day, commemorating victims of Soviet aggression in 1991.
