Foreign Ministers of Georgia, Germany meet in Berlin

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze and Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier are set to meet in Berlin.
The meeting will be part of the Georgian official’s three-day visit to Germany which starts today.
The two ministers meeting will be followed by a joint briefing where the officials will speak for media.
During the visit Janelidze was scheduled to meet the Federal Chancellor's Adviser on Foreign and Security Policy. Meetings will also be held at Germany’s Economy Ministry, Energy Ministry and parliament.
The Georgian Foreign Minister will deliver a public speech at German analytical centres before meeting with German experts and media representatives.
While in Germany, Janelidze will visit Saarbrucken and Wadern where he will meet the Mayors of these two cities and heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has congratulated Giorgi Kvirikashvili on becoming Prime Minister of Georgia in a special letter of congratulations. Merkel wished Kvirikashvili a successful term and noted: "I’ll be happy if I see you in Berlin soon”.
