The politicians spoke to press following the meeting.
"Georgia has proved it is a reliable partner,” the Czech leader said, adding his country was ready to share it's experiences regarding western integration with Georgia.
He also said the Czech Republic fully supported offering Georgia a visa-free regime with the European Union (EU).
Kvirikashvili said Georgia and all its people highly appreciated this support and added he believed Georgia and the Czech Republic could further deepen trade and economic relations.
"The Georgian side will spare no effort to increase trade turnover, deepen economic relations and intensify collaboration between businesses of Georgia and the Czech Republic,” Kvirikashvili said.
The Georgian Prime Minister stressed his country had achieved "significant successes” regarding economic integration and political association with the EU thanks to help from its partners including the Czech Republic.
"We are continuing successful implementation of the Association Agreement; we also sucesfully fulfilled our Visa Liberalisation Action Plan and now we are looking forward to granting our citizens a visa-free regime in the near future,” Kvirikashvili said. He believed this would be "well-deserved recognition” of Georgia’s hard work and commitment to its ambitious reform agenda.
