Brexit will not affect Georgia’s investment environment, says managing director at Georgian Co-Investment Fund Irakli Menabde in an interview with CNBC, American basic cable, internet and satellite business news television channel.

Georgia remains the attractive country for the investors. This year already we have doubled the Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) compared to the previous year,” said Menabde.
As for the Brexit factor, we should mention that British businesses have been successfully operating on Georgian market for several years. And they will continue their activities in the future. There should be no affect and no impact on the bilateral commercial relations between Britain and Georgia,” he added.

Brexit is an abbreviation of ‘British exit’, which refers to the June 23, 2016 referendum by British voters to exit the European Union (EU).
