SkyBus airlines will link Georgia’s Batumi to eight Kazakh cities

New flights are being introduced to better connect Georgia’s Black Sea resort Batumi with eight cities in Kazakhstan.

SkyBus, a Kazakhstan airline company, will begin charter flights from June 1, 2016 to stimulate bilateral tourism ties and increase the number of visitors between the countries.

During the summer season SkyBus will perform flights eight times a week from the following cities: 

  • Aktobe – Batumi - Astana;
  • Kyzylorda – Batumi - Aktobe;
  • Shymkent –Batumi – Kyzylorda;
  • Aktau – Batumi – Shymkent;
  • Atyrau – Batumi – Aktau;
  • Karaganda – Batumi – Atyrau;
  • Kostanay – Batumi – Karaganda;
  • Astana – Batumi – Kostanay.

Georgia’s Ministry of Economy today announced the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency had granted permission to the Kazakhstan’s airline company for three months to launch direct flights during this summer season.
