The Foreign Minister of Romania, Bogdan Aurescu, is on a two-day official visit to Georgia.
The Romanian official arrived in Georgia earlier today. While here he will take part in the international seminar on the preparation of the Annual National Program (ANP) for 2015, stated the press office of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry.
He was also scheduled to take part in a number of top meetings, including with Georgia’s President, Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
Tomorrow the Romanian Foreign Minister is expected to meet with his Georgian counterpart Tamar Beruchashvili.
Afterwards he will visit the villages along the occupation line.
Before he leaves Aurescu will lay a wreath at the memorial of the heroes who died in the fight for Georgia’s unity and territorial integrity.
