The beautiful Christmas Village in Tbilisi is ready to receive guests and create a real New Year’s atmosphere for every visitor.
The Christmas village and market opened yesterday evening at the Rose Revolution Square in central Tbilisi.

The guests of the Village will be able to taste variety of sweets and mulled wine, purchase Christmas accessories and engage in cultural, sporting and educational activities. In addition, children will be able to enjoy New Year-themed concerts and performances by different cartoon characters.

The younger guests of the Village will also have the opportunity to meet with Santa Claus and elves and enjoy shows by illusionists and movement theatre actors.

Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania and his family visited the Christmas Village yesterday. He said interests of all people from children to grandparents were taken into account when planning the New Year activities.
"The Christmas Village in Tbilisi was structured the way it is in many modern cities in Europe,” he said, promising there would be joy and New Year spirit all around the central city for the next ten days.

The Christmas Village at the Rose Revolution Square will be open for ten days and will close on January 3.
The New Year program will include concerts by leading Georgian bands and artists and sporting activities such as ice skating and street basketball.
