Georgia’s junior Greco-Roman wrestlers have triumphed at the 2015 Junior Wrestling World Championships in Brazil.
Georgia finished the tournament with four champions from a total of five finalists.
Nikoloz Kakhelishvili (96kg), Gela Bolkvadze (74kg), Ramaz Zoidze (66kg) and Zviad Pataridze (120kg) won gold medals and Nugzar Tsurtsumia (50kg) received silver.
By achieving four gold and one silver medals overall, Georgia won the team competition and the country became the big winner of the World Championship.
While the Greco-Roman wrestling competition ended, the freestyle competition will continue until August 16.
The 2015 Junior World Championships started in the Brazilian city of Salvador on August 11.
