The internet is full of marvelous sights and sounds and it often does not cater for people who are blind or have vision impairments. But Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has found a solution to this problem and developed its official website to allow Georgia’s blind community to engage with the country’s official news.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs collaborated with Georgia’s Union of Blind People to create an audio version of the website, which can be accessed at www.voice.police.ge.

The website aimed to provide information to those with vision problems.

The Ministry is the first Governmental institute to create a special website for people with disabilities.
