"We are deeply astonished. All of us here in Parliament have expressed our support toward the Ukrainian people, said Georgian Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili.

Usupashvili has issued his sympathies and best wishes about the ongoing mayhem and disorder in Ukraine.

Today in Parliament, the Parliament Speaker said that he hoped that the situation would ease and future conflict would be avoided in Ukraine.

"The situation is quite tense in Ukraine, and there has been a death, and the tension has increased in the streets of Kiev, Usupashvili said.

"I long to believe that all the politicians and the leaders of the country, both government and oppositional party, will do their best to avoid worsening the situation.

Several people have died in clashes between police and protesters in Kiev and hundreds of people have been injured, though some of the violence has been blamed on a little-known far-right group, Right Sector, according to BBC.

Wednesday's clashes began after police moved in to dismantle a protest camp.
