Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Wednesday said she would “maximise a good opportunity” she had at the Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe to “hold introductory meetings” with her colleagues.
Botchorishvili highlighted her meeting with Ararat Mirzoyan, the Armenian Foreign Minister.
This was my first introductory meeting with him. Of course, emphasis was placed on the strategic cooperation between the two countries and the importance of continuing and developing this collaboration”, the Minister noted.
The official stressed “it is very important for us to have peace and stability” in the South Caucasus region, which she said would “allow it to fully utilise its potential”.
Botchorishvili is attending the OSCE Ministerial Council, being held in Malta, from Wednesday to Friday.
