Georgian President pardons 12 convicts

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Tuesday pardoned 12 convicts, with nine of them fully released from serving their prison sentences, her office said. 

Two other inmates had their remaining terms reduced, while one individual serving a conditional sentence was fully released from probation.
