The Georgian Ministry of Justice on Tuesday announced it would build a Public Service Hall in the country’s historical city of Mtskheta, near Tbilisi.
A symbolic capsule-laying ceremony was held at the site of the foundation of the Public Service Hall branch, which was attended by Rati Bregadze, the Georgian Justice Minister, along with Davit Nozadze, the State Representative of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and the representatives of the Ministry.
The Public Service Hall will provide around 500 services to the population of Mtskheta in a “comfortable and modern environment”, meeting the needs of persons with disabilities as well, the Ministry said, pointing out it would also be possible to conduct the wedding registration in a specially arranged ritual space at the venue.
The body also added that there were 121 branches of the Public Service Hall throughout the country, stressing the availability of state services was “a priority” for the Ministry.
