Georgian FM, Canadian Ambassador discuss ties

The “wide range” of topics of cooperation between Georgia and Canada was reviewed between Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Kevin Hamilton, the Canadian Ambassador to the country on Tuesday, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.

The body said the officials focused on prospects of strengthening ties in multilateral formats.

The Canadian diplomat reaffirmed his country’s "unwavering support” for Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Foreign Minister and the Ambassador also confirmed their willingness to continue and “further intensify” the “fruitful cooperation” between the countries.
