Georgian PM visits cathedral in southern Georgia

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Sunday visited the St. Shalva Akhaltsikheli Cathedral in the southern region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. 

Metropolitan Theodore of Akhaltsikhe and Tao-Klarjeti expressed his gratitude for the visit and presented the Prime Minister with an icon of the Mother of God, the Government Administration said.

The visit also included Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
