Georgian medal winners of Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic to present trophies to fans

The Georgian athletes who won medals at the Paris Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 will present their trophies to supporters on Saturday at 19:45 at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in capital Tbilisi, local media reported. 

The Georgian Olympic team achieved a historic performance, securing three gold, three silver, and one bronze medal, which marks the best result in the country's history, placing Georgia 24th in the overall team standings.

The Georgian Paralympic team has won seven medals, including one gold, three silver, and three bronze, in five sports at the ongoing Paralympic Games. The national team consists of 14 athletes competing in six sports.

Later on Saturday, Tbilisi will host the UEFA Nations League Group B1 match between Georgia and the Czech Republic.
