Prominent British chef Jamie Oliver this week highlighted Georgia’s gastronomic delights to followers, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said.
The Administration said the popular culinary icon had travelled to Georgia in April to explore the country’s cuisine through videos, narratives and photos, and noted Oliver’s “culinary odyssey” continued on his social media platforms.
The GNTA said the British chef was introduced to the culture, cuisine and tourism products of the country. He also met local chefs and cooked and tasted Georgian dishes.
Followers of the culinary influencer can now watch his Georgian adventure through social media channels, with Oliver boasting more than 20 million followers on Instagram and Facebook combined and about six million on YouTube.
