Georgian wrestler Tornike Mikeladze became the country's first athlete to win a medal at the ongoing U20 Greco-Roman World Championship on Tuesday.
Mikeladze claimed a bronze by defeating his Swedish opponent Karl Edvin Hugo Baff 5:3.
The Georgian lost his semi-final match to Iran’s Alireza Morad Abdevali after previously defeating two other rivals.
The Georgian junior wrestling team, consisting of 10 athletes, is competing at the tournament taking place in Pontevedra, Spain.
