Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze met with the national football team in a show of support ahead of the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches, the Government Administration said on Thursday.

The Prime Minister expressed his confidence in the team's preparation for the 2026 World Cup and said the public would “take pride” in their victories.

The team is gearing up to face Czechia at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi on Saturday before playing Albania in Tirana on Tuesday.
