Georgian PM, foreign ministers of Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States discuss deepening ties

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday met foreign ministers of the member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States visiting the country to discuss deepening relations with the Caribbean region and member states of the Organisation in various fields.

The officials also discussed possibilities of promoting cooperation in economy and trade, while also noting the existing potential for developing partnership in tourism and education.

Kobakhidze extended his gratitude to the foreign ministers for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia as well as the United Nations resolution on internally displaced persons from the country's Russian-occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali (South Ossetia).
