Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday met with Saeed Amidi, the founder of Amidi Group, a micro-venture capital fund, to discuss investment opportunities and the potential for collaboration.
The Government Administration said the meeting highlighted Georgia's “favourable” investment environment and the country's “leading positions” in international rankings.
The officials also deliberated on the possibility of Amidi Group's involvement in opening a technology hub in the western Georgian city of Kutaisi.
The conversation emphasised the country’s role as a regional hub and its participation in the Middle Corridor initiative - a logistics route connecting Central Asia and China to Europe via the South Caucasus.
Additionally, discussions centred on Government-supported projects in the IT sector.
Amidi Group, with assets amounting to $2 billion, operates in real estate and IT technology.
