New British Ambassador thanks Georgian PM for discussing ‘wide-ranging’ bilateral relations

Gareth Ward, the newly appointed United Kingdom Ambassador to Georgia, on Tuesday expressed his gratitude to the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze for a “wide ranging” discussion of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

“Thank you Prime Minister for a wide ranging discussion of the United Kingdom and Georgia’s bilateral relations, NATO and the importance of Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic trajectory”, the Ambassador said in his social media post.

Earlier today, the Georgian PM and the British diplomat held a meeting, discussing the strategic partnership between the two countries and prospects for future cooperation.
