Georgia’s Zaza Nadiradze claimed a bronze medal at the Canoe Sprint World Championships hosted in Uzbekistan as the competition closed on Sunday, the Sports Ministry said.
Nadiradze covered the C1 200-metre distance of the single-seater section in 39.180 seconds to earn the medal.
He finished behind Poland’s Oleksii Koliadych and Pablo Graña of Spain on the podium.
