Adjara Gov't head presents delegates of Supreme Council to run election campaign in region

Tornike Rijvadze, the Chair of Georgia’s western regional Government of Adjara, on Saturday presented the ruling Georgian Dream party’s delegates to run their campaign for the elections of the Supreme Council of Adjara scheduled for October 26 along with the parliamentary elections in the country. 

At a press briefing, Rijvadze introduced the delegates, who will lead the election campaign in all six Adjarian municipalities and be represented in the Supreme Council by gaining a constitutional majority.

Ramaz Jincharadze, the Chair of Batumi Municipality City Council, Tsotne Ananidze, the Chair of the Human Rights Issues Committee of the Supreme Council of Adjara, Mindia Diasamidze, the First Deputy Chair of the Khelvachauri Municipality City Council, Mamuka Turmanidze, the Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara, Phridon Phutkaradze, the Chair of the Agrarian and Environmental Committee of the Council, and Vakhtang Beridze, the Khulo Mayor, will lead the election campaign in the country’s Black Sea region of Adjara.

Last week, the ruling party introduced 22 delegates, who will lead the election campaign in various regions of the country.
