The eighth Max Fight international competition in kickboxing and mixed martial arts was held on Friday in the open-air Octagon in Georgia’s western city of Zugdidi, the Zugdidi Municipality City Hall said.
Athletes from five countries participated in the event, which was organised by Davit Kiria, the Georgian three-time kickboxing world champion, with the support of the local City Hall and the Administration of the State Representative.
The sports event was attended by Irakli Chikovani, the Georgian Defence Minister, Anzor Chubinidze, the Head of the country's Special State Protection Service, Merab Kvaraia, the Parliament member, Giorgi Guguchia, the State Representative of the Samegrelo-Zemo-Svaneti region, and Zugdidi Mayor Mamuka Tsotseria.
