Tourism promo campaign for Georgia’s Adjara region gets 80mln hits on social media

Follow Me in Adjara, a promotional campaign of the Tourism Department of Georgia’s western region of Adjara - has reached 80 million hits on social media platforms, the body said on Friday.

The campaign, aimed at promoting Adjara as a year-round tourist destination, has been active for over a month and has seen the participation of 30 influencers, content creators, and photographers, the body added.

These individuals have been documenting their experiences in Adjara and sharing them with hundreds of thousands of domestic tourists. The competition for the top prize is heating up as the campaign enters its final two weeks. After its conclusion, the results of the influencers' travels to the region will be analysed, and the winners will be announced”, the Department said.

This campaign marks the second edition of the campaign launched last year, and has involved bloggers and influencers showcasing tourism offerings of the region over two months.
