Georgian PM says regional peace fundamentally important, wishing Ukraine territorial integrity, independence

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Sunday highlighted the importance of securing peace in the Black Sea region, wishing Ukraine sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It is fundamentally important for us that peace be established in our region,” Kobakhidze said to the local media.

He pointed out “we keep watch over the developments [in the region]”, and wished Ukraine territorial integrity, independence, and sovereignty.

The Prime Minister’s remarks came amid the war between Russia and Ukraine that has been raging since 2022.
