The Migration Department of Georgia's Interior Ministry arrested and expelled 35 citizens of various countries in July due to their illegal residence in the state, the body said on Friday.
The Department deported citizens of Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Egypt, India, Jordan and Ireland, who had entered the country and resided without a legal status.
Some of the individuals left Georgia “voluntarily”, it added, while others were forcibly expelled based on “measures taken” by the Department.
