The Facebook page of Communications Department of the ruling Georgian Dream party Sinamdvileshi on Monday dismissed as "false information" Transparency International Georgia’s claim on social media platform X, calling the party's exposure of them during the election campaign “disinformation and an attack on voter education programmes”, without providing an explanation to foreign readers on the page's decision.

"In fact, both the format of the meeting [in July] organised by Transparency International Georgia in which representative of Lelo opposition party participated and Eka Gigauri's speech, in which she directly engaged in agitation against Georgian Dream, have nothing to do with voter education and are clearly pre-election political agitation and a violation of the principle of neutrality of the election observer.

We  provide quotes from Gigauri's speech: “Maybe we were fighting, we didn't like each other, but now we have to unite". ... "They [Russia] will try to maintain this Government in Georgia indefinitely". ... [It is pragmatic] on the part of Russia to keep this government, to help it to be this government”.

The donors of the TI Georgia were the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, the United States National Endowment for Democracy and The US Agency for International Development. Funding of election campaigns by a foreign country was interference in another country's elections.”, the statement of Sinamdvileshi said.
