China Central Television to broadcast programme on Georgia’s tourism potential

China Central Television will broadcast an extensive programme about Georgia’s tourism potential, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Friday.

The country’s seaside and spa resorts, nature, culture, wine and cuisine will be featured in the production, set to be produced by journalists travelling to capital Tbilisi, eastern winemaking region of Kakheti, as well as western regions of Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara. 

The team will explore historical districts and cultural monuments of the capital, sights in Imereti, the ancient capital of Mtskheta and vineyards in Kakheti.

They will also be hosted in Martvili Canyon, Kolkheti National Park, Lake Paliastomi and in the Black Sea city of Batumi in the west, visiting the Botanical Garden of the latter and also tasting local cuisine in Samegrelo, the body said.
