Georgian PM, new Kutaisi Int’l University Rector discuss plans for new programmes

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Tuesday met Giorgi Khubua, the newly appointed Rector of Kutaisi International University in the country's west, to discuss plans for the development of new educational programmes at the institution.

The Government Administration said the PM expressed his Government’s support, with the meeting also featuring Education Minister Giorgi Amilakhvari.

Khubua, a Professor and Doctor of Legal Science, served as the Rector of Tbilisi State University, while also authoring over 40 scientific works, seven monographs and a textbook.
