Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, as the head of the election office of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Saturday discussed the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26 and the pre-election environment in the country with the observation mission of the International Republican Institute.
The meeting consisting of 20 long-term observers of the mission was also attended by Maka Botchorishvili, the Chair of the European Integration Committee of the Georgian Parliament, Nikoloz Samkharadze, the Chair of the Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee and Givi Mikanadze, the Chair of the Parliament's Education, Science and Youth Affairs Committee, the GD press office said.
