The Georgian Government on Tuesday discussed details, terms of competition, deadlines and selection criteria of a paid internship programme allowing 3,000 graduates to gain work experience across various state agencies.
At the meeting with his cabinet members, Irakli Kobakhidze, the Georgian Prime Minister, emphasised the “need to develop clear competition criteria” that young people should meet in order to enjoy the internships, the Government Administration said.
The meeting noted details of the programme would be revealed soon and followed by the announcement of the competition.
Kobakhidze announced the launch of the programme in March, saying the initiative would start with a pilot programme, with the internships set to run over four months.
