Ahali, Droa and Girchi - More Freedom opposition parties on Tuesday announced they would join forces ahead of the Georgian parliamentary elections scheduled for October 26.
“We are aware of our responsibility towards the history of the country, the motherland and the most important moment, which today represents a decisive moment for Georgia”, Nika Gvaramia, a leader of Ahali, said in comments.
“Therefore, we make a decision to participate in the elections together”, he added, noting an agreement could not be reached with the opposition Lelo party.
